So. The new Star Wars
movie starting showing to the general public in the coming hours. Are
you going to see it? I would like to,
but I also don’t want to sit in a theatre with 300 other fan boy/girls who feel
the need to clap and cheer at the movie screen. You don't cheer in a movie theatre. You just don't.

I actually thought real hard about taking a half-day vacation to go see
it at 9AM on Friday, but I have opted to pass on that as well. While I am definitely excited to see it, my
most plausible reason to see it RIGHT AWAY is so some ass-bag doesn’t tell me
about it, and what happens in it…etc and ruin the whole goddamn fun. I have been
pretty diligent in NOT looking at things that might give away any of the story
or “spoliers” about the film, and I haven’t done that so Jonny Superfan can
tell me R2-D2 is a secret sith lord and ruin the whole thing.
Yeah I know the new primary character names, and I’ve seen
all the film trailers about 30 times, but that’s about it. What I do know is that the early viewers have
said “it’s good” and it is “so much better than the prequel trilogy.” That’s enough for me. Shit, this blog is better than Attack of the
Clones most days, and that isn’t saying much. May the Force be with you my fellow nerdos.
